This soap dish has minimal surface area to minimize the sticking of the soap. The wide angled channels allows the water to quickly drain for the soap, extending the life of the soap. This not only allows your soap to dry quicker and extending life to the soap, but it also extends the life of the soap dish.
A great idea to do is simply get 2 soap dishes! Use one soap dish for 3-4 weeks, and then wipe clean and set aside to fully dry out while the second soap dish is in use. Alternating them this way and periodically allowing them to fully dry out will prevent mold and mildew from developing, and will extend the life of the soap dish significantly.
